Award-winning copywriter and brand strategist Winnie Anderson won a silver prize in the 2007 International Davey Awards for a sales kit she created that closed $400,000 worth of new business in just four months. Her knowledge of behavior, motivation, and learning combined with her experience in Human Resources, Education, Sales, and Marketing allow her to create strategies and messages that attract, engage, and inspire clients to say “yes†faster and easier.
Her depth of knowledge of how people process information came at a steep price. In 1999 she sustained a traumatic brain injury in a serious auto accident that forced her to leave her position as director of human resources for a growing chapter of a national nonprofit.
The accident took her from graduating with a masters degree in the top 10 percent of the class, to suddenly not knowing how to tie her own shoes. Driven to not let her injuries define her, she threw herself into extensive therapy in order to relearn how to learn. Winnie now calls the accident “the best gift†she ever got because of the deep knowledge it gave her of how people process information, and the wake-up call she got about her priorities and the value of life.
Winnie’s work with consultants, coaches, and licensed service professionals helps them inspire commitment from their clients faster and easier, grow their revenue, and get more joy out of their work. Client accomplishments include:
• A consultant whose revenue increased 20% two years in a row
• An author and leadership consultant who generated 16,000 new leads in less than 6 months
• An association leader who obtained a large regional health system as a sponsor less than 24 hours after spending one day with Winnie
• A newsletter publisher who closed 4 out of 5 sales the week after working with Winnie for one day
Winnie contributed a featured segment in Personal Branding for Dummies (Wiley). She's the author of the Amazon best seller, Faith From 9 to 5: How to Overcome the Seven Deadly Sins and Live Your Faith at Work. Legendary management guru and author, Ken Blanchard, calls it “…provocative and reflective.â€
Originally from South Jersey, Winnie lives in the Buffalo / Niagara region with her husband and two rescue cats. She loves bird watching, gardening, and collects Sherlock Holmes memorabilia.
